Equipment Operator
Cass Rural Water District is seeking applications for an Equipment Operator. This position reports to the Chief System Operator and Underground Foreman and is responsible for water pipeline installation, repairing water main breaks, maintaining and repairing system valves and curb stops and other water system appurtenances. Other duties include maintaining and repairing equipment, vehicles and trailers, snow removal and assisting other field personnel. Position requires ability to operate construction equipment including track hoe, boring machine, trencher and skid steer. Must possess a Class A CDL as well as ability to work well with the public. Must be available after normal business hours for emergency repair of water leaks. This is a full-time year-round position. Cass Rural Water provides a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, LTD, life + retirement. District provided vehicle for business use. Pay DOE from $30.00 to $32.00/hr.
